NeoTap ("we" or "the Platform") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to the NeoTap website, NFC hardware, Tunnel review pages, and merchant dashboard, and should be read together with our Terms of Service.

1. Information we collect and use
We apply data minimisation and distinguish the following: Merchant users: • Account data: store name, email, password, and information from Google sign-in where used. • Password notice: passwords may be stored in administrator-accessible form for support. Use a NeoTap-only password. • Public storefront data: store name, address, hours, description, services, portfolio, social links, and store contact details shown on your Tunnel page. • Private settings: legal name, private phone; sales accounts may also provide age, gender, and location. Used for support, shipping, and sales attribution only. • Billing records: we do not collect full card numbers; offline payments are recorded in your billing history after manual confirmation. End customers: • Positive reviews: for 4–5 stars, we log only event counts and timestamps—not names, phones, or emails. When the funnel is disabled, all 1–5 stars follow the same flow. • Negative feedback: when the smart review funnel is enabled, 1–3 stars collect selected reasons and comments for your dashboard. When disabled, 1–3 stars do not collect private feedback and route to your Google Review link like 4–5 stars. • Access logs: our application does not actively collect customer IP, browser, or OS when feedback is submitted. Standard infrastructure logs may be kept by our hosting provider for security.
2. Local storage and cookies
We may store: • localStorage: language preference. • sessionStorage: sales invite code during registration (cleared when the browser closes). • Cookies and auth sessions: dashboard login state and UI preferences such as sidebar layout.
3. Service providers and hosting
We rely on trusted providers: • Supabase: database, authentication, and file storage for accounts, feedback, and uploaded media. • Google Identity: when you sign in with Google, Google's privacy policy applies. We use row-level security (RLS) to prevent unauthorised cross-account access. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data retention
Registration data, privacy settings, and billing history are kept while your account is active. Private 1–3 star customer feedback (collected only when the smart review funnel is enabled) remains in your dashboard for your review. After approved account deletion, we delete or anonymise data within a reasonable period as permitted by law.
5. Your rights
You may sign in to review and correct storefront and privacy settings. To export data, delete your account, or delete collected feedback, contact the official email shown at the bottom of this page. We will verify your identity and assist within a reasonable period. We do not sell your personal information.
6. Policy updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on the website with an updated date. Continued use of the Platform means you accept the revised policy.
